How it works
Discover, connect, then actually meet
ZongoConnect covers the whole arc, not just the introduction.
Write a profile worth reading
Mentors put down what they actually help with, how long a session runs, what it costs (free is common), and how many mentees they can carry at once. Mentees write down where they are, what they've already tried, and what a good outcome looks like.
A mentor's profile stays invisible until the Foundation approves it — a mentor cannot publish themselves.
Search from either side
Full-text search across names, headlines, bios, and skills, plus filters for skill, and availability. Mentors with open capacity always sort first, so you don't spend your one request on someone who isn't taking anyone.
Approved mentors can browse young people the same way. Nobody else can.
Send one clear request
A focus line and a short message. The mentor accepts or declines. One request per mentor, and a decline is final — nobody gets worn down by repeat asks. If you are under 18, a parent or guardian has to give permission before you can send anything at all.
Run it from the dashboard
Accepted requests open a shared workspace: a message thread, a session list with agendas and call links, and a running count of what you've actually done together. Either side can end the mentorship; the history stays.
